The Montana Broadcasters Association, in conjunction with Townsquare Media, brings Montana Senator Steve Daines to commemorate Constitution Day, 2018 on this 231st anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Constitution by the Founding Fathers in 1787.

“Over the last 231 years the United States has become the most powerful and prosperous in the history of the world under the framework set by our Constitution,” said Daines. “The document’s genius is that it limits and separates government power, first between the states and the federal government, and then between our three co-equal branches of government. We also have the Bill of Rights that enshrines our God-given rights as citizens and limited government power over citizens in order to preserve liberty. Our constitutional system is the envy of the world, and has served as a model for countries worldwide who are seeking to create representative government. That is why it is so important for us to observe days like Constitution Day.”

Daines’ entire comment is attached on the You Tube video.
