Three time Mayor and current Bozeman City Commissioner Jeff Krauss joined the fun on Open for Business last Saturday to talk openly about Open Space issues.

The Gallatin Country Commissioners are talking about adding an Open Space Levy to the June primary ballot that is expected to raise around $20 million in property taxes for future use.

Open Space is one of those double-edged swords that people are either for or against. There is rarely any middle ground or neutral stance on the issue.

Some want the growth and prosperity of more jobs and businesses while others don’t want the future landscape of Bozeman to resemble New York City.

Jeff Krauss has volumes of experience on this issue so Tom and Shane asked him to give his opinion of the pros and cons of Open Space.

Here is the interview we did on March 10th with Commissioner Krauss on Open Space.
