HRDC's Warming Center for the homeless, which is completely funded by community support, currently has the means to only keep their doors open for about a month. A warm shelter is a basic human right. Give a truly rewarding gift this holiday season. Find out how you can help here.

HRDC is a 501(c)3 non-profit Community Action Agency dedicated to building a better community by providing programs and services in the areas of Housing, Food & Nutrition, Child & Youth Development, Senior Empowerment, Community Transportation, Home Heating–Energy–Safety, and Community Development.

This winter season, HRDC's Warming Center is proud to provide shelter to people in need. However, current funding levels may force the Center to close January 31. Anonymous donors offered a matching challenge grant of up to $10,000. That means that when you donate now, a contribution of equal value effectively doubles the impact of your giving. If you donate $50, it is matched by another $50 and HRDC’s Warming Center receives a total of $100.

Help keep everyone in the community warm this winter season. An investment in our community provides security and assistance to those in need right here at home. To donate, you can text 'WARM2DAY' to 41444 or visit thehrdc.org for more information.
