Missoula Police Investigating Alleged Bomb Threat in Missoula Home
Missoula Police received a report at about 3 p.m. Tuesday afternoon about an explosive device in a home on Spartan Drive.
A bomb squad was brought in and Spartan Drive was blocked off immediately. Some evacuations were made.
As of 20 minutes ago, a bomb disposal team used a special robotic device, took what appeared to be a pipe bomb, and used a water canon, to detonate the explosive device.
Detectives are still in the home looking for explosive materials.
More details will be released as soon as possible.
