Eagle Watching-My New Favorite Past Time
Growing up in Northwest Illinois, we were always close to one of the countries eagle hatching areas. The place is Decorah Iowa, where there is a live camera to watch the eagles right in their nest. We watched the Adults lay, hatch and feed the eaglets. The eagle nests are bigger than I thought. This one is about 6 feet wide, 5 feet deep and weighs about 1400 lbs.
