Bozeman’s “Wankel T. Rex.” Goes To The Smithsonian!

The "Wankel T.Rex," found in 1988 by rancher Kathy Wankel, is thought to be one of the most complete sets of T. rex remains ever discovered. For 11 years, was on loan to the Museum of the Rockies.  Now Mr. T. Rex is going to Washington... The Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History plans to make it the centerpiece of the new dinosaur hall scheduled to open in 2019.
