I know, I know...I shouldn't bring anymore attention to America's First Family of Hate, but when you pull a boneheaded move such as they have done, my snarky side comes out.

Some background: On Friday, Ireland voted to legalize same-sex marriage. The measure passed with more than 60 percent of the vote. It was something of a big deal as it was the first-ever national vote anywhere on the globe. OK, no biggie, cultural trends are moving towards supporting the idea.

But there are some who are very vocal on the other side of the issue. Please do NOT misconstrue that statement to mean all who oppose same-sex marriage are on par with Westboro Baptist Church. For Westboro, there is a very special place reserved in the afterlife, should you believe in Heaven or Hell.

For example: Here is my conversation with Shirley Phelps Roper prior to her family visiting Bozeman in 2013:

Now as a traveled person who knows flags, emblems and badges matter -- Or even as a person who calls themselves Irish one day a year, you would know this is the flag of the Republic of Ireland (Green, White and Orange)

Yet, for their latest round of damning 'Gays to Hell,' they used the flag of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire. (Orange, White and Green)

Please, hatemongers everywhere, at the VERY least get the nation's flag right.
