Cate Ludin, with the Ellen Theater, brought three young actors into KMMS AM this morning to chat with host Tom Egelhoff.

Riley, Jess and Duke are TATE Academy students and will be performing a Norwegian folktale, East of the Sun, West of the Moon. A story of a Troll Queen who changes a prince into a fierce white bear, a modified version of Beauty and the Beast.

The trio discussed how they prepare for their roles, get into character and learn lines and stage presence. All want to be professional actors as their future vocation, and all said they will be dragging their parents to either New York or Los Angeles sometime in the future.

They are also auditioning for roles in other productions and possibly movies.
