Thoughts On The Story Mansion?
What will Bozeman do with the Bozeman Mansion? Tonight you can voice your opinion to the Bozeman City Commission during their public hearing.
Karin Ronnow - Bozeman Daily Chronicle
The Bozeman City Commission will hold a public hearing and is expected to vote tonight on the city's future plans for the Story Mansion.
Also on the agenda tonight is Western Montana Mental Health Center's request for $121,890 in affordable housing funds for construction of a six-unit apartment building for the mentally ill on GMHC's "campus," off Haggerty Lane east of Bozeman Deaconess Hospital.
The center wants to use the money as matching funds for a Montana Department of Commerce HOME program grant, according to documents provided to commissioners.
The goal is to set rents as low as possible, projected at $225 per month, which is 12 percent of area median income.
