Rabi Ed (Jewish), Pastor Brian (Protestant), Dr. Ruhul (Muslim), and Father Leo (Catholic) (Pastor Brian replaced Rev.Jody pictured above) discussed their religious directions on the subject of the recent New York City state abortion law on the KMMS Morning Soapbox Show with Tom and Shane.

Listen to the rebroadcast at the end of this post.

New York State Abortion Law

Late term abortions would be allowed under the Reproductive Health Act that was first introduced in 2007 but always shot down by a Republican controlled State Senate.

With the appointments of Gorsuch and Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court voters gave control of the senate back to Democrats fearing the overthrow of Roe v. Wade so the door was opened to support the bill.

The NY Senate approved the bill, 38-24, largely along party lines with two Democrats voting no. The Assembly later approved it 92-47.

Below is a rebroadcast of our four religious representatives taking on this very emotional and highly charged topic.
