We currently have an all volunteer military. Those who serve put themselves in harms way do so by choice. Thank a veteran today.

Income tax dates back to the Civil War to help pay war costs. Then it was resurrected again during WW I and the politicians sort of fell in love with it.

During WW II Hollywood got behind the war effort. Celebrities sold war bonds, did USO tours, made movies about war heroes. Those days also ended long ago.

Which brings us to the question — Which cabinet is better for the American people — business people or political people?
