I first got wind that this courageous Marine would be coming to Bozeman, Montana earlier this year. It is now official.

"He was just about to retire after more than 20 years of service. He wanted to retire back in Montana."

An explosion during a training exercise Monday Night caused the deaths of seven Marines and injured seven others at the Hawthorne Army Depot outside of Reno, Nevada.

Chris Kyle, a highly decorated Iraq War veteran and one of the most accomplished snipers in American military history, was killed while at a gun range outside Fort Worth, Texas, on Saturday. Marines have stood as guards at some of the most hostile places around the world.  There are even stories of Marines guarding the gates of heaven.  A few Marines around the United States have taken on a new guard duty.  They are standing guard at elementry schools.
