A High Wind Watch is in effect for southwest Montana, with gusts that could exceed 70 mph from late Tuesday night through Wednesday evening. Travel along I-90 may become especially dangerous.
Tuesday may be dangerously windy for dozens of counties with gusts of 60+ MPH. Some counties have Watches in effect for wind through Wednesday morning. Flood Watches are also a serious issue with warmer temperatures and melting snowpack.
Southwest Montana is under a High Wind warning until Tuesday afternoon with winds of 60 to 70 mph possible at times, accompanied by snow. Dangerous driving conditions will occur.
Ugh. We've been plagued by gusty winds all week. It appears that a High Wind Watch will continue for several southwest Montana counties through Saturday night with gusts up to 60 mph.
