Police and U.S. Marshals were involved in a chase through Missoula this morning.

Missoula Correctional Services reports that one of their pre-release residents, 34 year-old Coldy Naldrett, walked away from his work placement on Friday evening at about 6:50 p.m.

A man who escaped federal custody in Colorado was caught outside of Bozeman this weekend after a high speed chase on I-90.

BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) — A 35-year-old Billings man who allegedly fled the state in May 2011 to avoid trial on felony drug charges has been returned to Montana, where he also faces charges of kidnapping his wife and a child and forcing them to travel with him to Mexico.

The FBI has captured William Walter Asher III, a convicted killer who escaped from prison and spent three decades on the lam. The case broke wide open when Asher’s mother put the word out that she wanted to speak with him one last time before she died.
