We're in trouble. This isn't a "shake your head" broken record thing anymore. Montana towns are in deep, serious, fast-moving financial transformation. I've sugar-coated my personal concerns about Bozeman's change up until now. I can't do that anymore.
It’s tough to find things to hate about Bozeman. It's pricey, more than a little elitist, and a little liberal. I guess I can live with two out of three.
Bozeman is not a cheap place to live. When there are vacant lots selling in the mid $300 thousand dollar range that should give you some clue about our economy.
As I approach my final year at the University of Montana, the pressure is definitely on to figure out what to do with the rest of my life, or where to spend the first few years looking for a job (or career?) post-graduation.
