UPDATE: Arturo Valerio Gonzalez has been located, according to the Gallatin County Sheriff's Office. The update came at around 9:20 a.m. Monday.

Gonzalez was taken into custody near Four Corners without incident. The sheriff’s office thanks the public for their assistance in locating him.


 

Law enforcement officials are asking for the public's help to locate a man accused of sexual assault who fled Four Corners early this morning.

Arturo Valerio Gonzalez fled the Town Pump at Four Corners following a report of a sexual assault at 3 a.m. Monday. Gonzalez fled by foot and may be trying to hitch-hike out of the area attempting to return to his home state of Utah, according to a release from the sheriff's office.

Gonzalez is a mid-40s Hispanic male, approximately 5’5”, 240 pounds, dark hair, clean shaven, last seen wearing a blue T-shirt, dirty jeans and black shoes.

The sheriff's office asks that if you see Gonzalez, do not approach him and call the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office at 582-2100 and report his location. Tips which lead to the arrest of the suspect may be eligible for a crime stoppers reward.
