
Public Drunkenness Could Be Banned By Cities & Towns Under Senate Bill
The Associated Press reports, cities and towns across Montana could adopt and enforce ordinances banning public drunkenness under a bill that has passed through a Senate committee.

Under the measure, city governments could adopt an ordinance prohibiting public intoxication that would allow police officers to bring people who appear drunk to a detention center.
No one spoke in opposition of the bill.
