BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) — Investigators are still working to determine the cause of a fire that razed an apartment complex that was under construction near downtown Bozeman.
The blaze erupted at the four-story SOBO Lofts building early on Feb. 14.
No one was injured and no other properties were damaged.
Private fire investigator Clay Burnett says all evidence has been collected but determining a cause will take time. Burnett was hired to investigate days after the fire.
Construction on the 50,000-square-foot (4,645-square-meter) building was expected to wrap up in July.
The building on Babcock Street was planned to hold 42 apartments and some commercial spaces.
The lot has now been cleared of wood and other debris damaged in the fire.
