The Bobcats defeated William & Mary 55-7 at home on Friday to advance to the semifinals. The Jackrabbits secured their spot in the semifinals following a 42-21 win over Holy Cross.
The Bobcats are one of four remaining teams in the FCS playoffs, including SDSU, NDSU, and Incarnate Word. Incarnate Word knocked off Sacramento State 66-63 in a game that will go down in history for having the most points scored in an FCS post-season game.
For the Bobcats, Saturday's game against SDSU is a chance to secure a spot in the FCS National Championship game in Frisco, Texas for the second year in a row. The Bobcats defeated SDSU 31-17 in the 2021 FCS semifinals.
