HELENA, Mont. (AP) — A Montana resident who is visiting Maryland has tested positive for the new coronavirus.

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan announced the test result Wednesday. Montana Gov. Steve Bullock says the woman did not have coronavirus when she was in Montana.

The woman is in her 70s and from Lake County, but that she has not been in Montana since November.

Officials say the woman had been in contact with a confirmed case in another state, but officials did not say where.

She was tested at a hospital in Anne Arundel County, which includes Annapolis. Montana has not confirmed any in-state cases of the new coronavirus.
