‘Miss Jail’ Prison Pageant Crowns Murderer in Brazil [VIDEOS]
Who knew that being a convicted murderer could land you the esteemed title of "Miss Jail," an award doled out by the Racife, Brazil women's prison?
The yearly contest is based on beauty, knowledge and good cell behavior and can only be won by femmes behind bars.
Twelve competed in this year's pageant and the crowned winner was 19-year-old convicted murderer Rebecca Rhaysa Suelen Guedsin. She told the press, "It's flattering that people think I am pretty."
Racife isn't the only women's prison to hold a beauty pageant for inmates; crowns have been donned by criminals in Rio de Janeiro, Russia, Columbia, Lithuania and Siberia, as well.
