There are free events and ticketed events, making it easy for you to build the perfect "Winter Festival" weekend, suited to your personal tastes. Tons of live music, BBQs, social events, beer tastings, cross country skiing, and performances will span the four days of fun.

THURSDAY, February 10th, 2022

• Tunes in the Taproom at Ten Mile Creek Brewery: Ten Mile hosts their weekly FREE live music starting at 5pm.
• Chuck Briseno at Lewis & Clark Brewery: Lewis & Clark is hosting FREE live music starting at 7pm.
• The Fab Four at The Civic Center: The Ultimate Beatles Tribute band will perform at 7:30pm; tickets start at $45.
• A Real Boy at Grandstreet Theatre: When Geppetto’s latest wooden creation magically comes to life, a new story begins for an unlikely father and son. The performance starts at 7:30pm; tickets are $27.

FRIDAY (Feb 11th)

• Open Curl Event w/ Last Chance Curling Club: Hang out with the Curling Club at the Helena Ice Arena from noon to 1pm. Beginners are welcome and the cost is only $10/person.
• Downtown Backyard BBQ: We’re shutting down Lawrence Street for a BBQ from 4 to 8pm. Come enjoy some awesome cooking from Bad Betty’s and the ranches from Old Salt Co-Op!
• Drink and Draw at The Holter’s W: Join The Holter with Cowboy Bob & Gypsy Dust for some live music, drinks, and drawing. Doors open at 6:30pm; $20 entry fee, $15 for non-members.
• Galentine’s Day at The Painted Pot: Registration is $15 and includes a huge dessert bar (including waffles with toppings) as well as a gift for each participant. Pick any creative project the night of the event.
• Josh Hoyer and Soul Colossal at Lewis & Clark Brewery: Night after night at their live shows, Josh Hoyer & Soul Colossal leave it all on the table, bringing crowds and palpably authentic music. The music starts at 7pm with a $5 cover charge.

• Art Stroll on Rodney Street: Come grab a printed map and explore all the new art installations in the Rodney Street neighborhood!
• Jailhouse Gallery at The Myrna Loy: Enjoy hot cider and mulled wine at The Myrna Loy Jailhouse Gallery where they’re exhibiting originals of some of the artworks installed on the Livery Building.
• Beat Deaf at The Jesters Bar: Live music with special guest Aaron Williams

SATURDAY (Feb 12th)

• Snow Sculpting at B&B Market: Head up to the B&B/Laundry parking lot on Rodney Street to check out our amazing local artists’ snow sculptures.
• Spring Meadow Cold Plunge: Support Special Olympics with the annual Polar Plunge at Spring Meadow Lake. Sign up to participate at 12pm!
• Cross Country Ski at Bill Roberts Golf Course: Bring your cross country ski set-up to the golf course thanks to a route from Last Chance Nordic Ski Club.
• Rare Beer Tasting at Blackfoot River Brewing Company: The Blackfoot Brewers will be tasting beers that are no longer available to the public! Dipping into their private stock, the Brewers will have a limited quantity of Brewer’s Reserve bottles to sample by 12oz glass from 12-8pm.
• Montana Wilderness School at Ten Mile Creek Brewery: Swing by Ten Mile to support this non-profit and its mission to empower additional wilderness courses to get kids outdoors.

• Moth Sponsored by Keeper of the Green at Lewis & Clark Brewery: Their high-energy music, improvisational jams, intriguing songwriting, and captivating lighting have made them a southwestern MT favorite for over a decade. Music starts at 7pm with a $5 cover charge.

• Learn to Curl w/ Last Chance Curling Club: Want to learn how to curl? Maybe even want to know what curling is? Then swing by the Memorial Ice Rink at 8:30am or 10:15am, before the Bighorn hockey team shows up, to learn how to curl. Even better, it’s FREE!
• Ice Skate with Helena Bighorns Hockey Team: Meet and skate with Helena’s hockey team at Memorial Park ice rink starting at 12pm. And better yet, skate rentals are only $2.50!
• Galentine’s Day at Ten Mile Creek Brewery: Bring your best friends for yoga at 11am, then brews right after. From noon to 3pm, support female-owned small businesses and shop at their pop up market with vendors Dear Potato, Prairie Fire Designs, Blue Macron, Mean Moose Boards, and more!
