Before everyone heads back to school and regular schedules, have some fun Bozeman style with friends and family at any of these great free or cheap events this week. They're all family friendly, but kids not required. LOL.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 24TH: Big Sky Music in the Mountains: Futurebirds - Len Hill Park in the Big Sky Town Center. Free summer concert series. Park opens at 6 PM with music starting from Bozeman's the Dead and Down. Futurebirds will take the stage at 8 p.m. Open to the public, no dogs are allowed.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 25TH: NAPOLEON DYNAMITE is rescheduled for Friday, Aug. 25th at the Story Mansion - FREE event, Story Under The Stars. Events start at 6:30pm, with the movie starting at dusk. Grab your blankets and low-back chairs. "This FREE family event on the lush lawn of Story Mansion Park will start with kids activities - tether-ball, football, and a dance competition, delicious grub from Cece's Gourmet and Taqueria Paraisio food trucks, Guided Story Mansion tours, plus special guests from Yellowstone Llamas."

FRIDAY, AUGUST 25TH: Summer Roller Skate Nights at the Haynes Pavillion - Happening at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds. All Ages Skate from 5pm to 7pm and
Adult Skate until 10pm. Tickets start at $5 (for kids). Adult tickets are up to $15. If you already own skates, buy a ticket. Otherwise, buy them at the door and skates are available to rent. Rollerblades are welcome. Music by DJ Swoon!

SATURDAY, AUGUST 26TH: Bumblewood Thicket - 4th Annual Fairy Village at Glen Lake Rotary Park - Opening at 2pm on August 26th and runs until September 17th. It's free to go see this self-guided exhibit off of North Rouse and Griffin Drive in Bozeman. "The 4th Annual Fairy Village will contain all new fairy homes and business establishments created by talented Montana artists." Hosted by Random Acts of Silliness.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 26TH: Gallatin Valley Farmers' Market at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds - Runs from 9am to Noon every Saturday at the Fairgrounds. Everything you love about Farmers' Markets can be found here with nearly 150 vendors. This market has been around for 50 years! NOTE: The last one of the season is coming up on September 9th.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 26TH: Bozeman Science Carnival at the Montana Science Center - (2744 West Main Street Bozeman) Happening 2pm to 5pm and tickets are just $8. "Interactive booths like Funhouse Mirrors, Bed of Nails, Perpetual Motion, Science Photo Booth, Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream and Smoke Ring Cannon will leave you with excitement and tickets for our raffle."
