Glacier National Park Plans to Remain Open During Shutdown
KALISPELL, Mont. (AP) — Glacier National Park planned to remain open during the federal government shutdown with limited services but officials warned conditions are subject to change.
A press release issued by the park on Saturday said facilities including visitor centers and restrooms will be closed and that plowing would be limited to areas that serve residential areas. Emergency and rescue services will also be limited.
The park says it won't provide updates through its website and social media accounts during the shutdown so information there may not reflect current conditions.
