I know you probably think the world runs on logical thought but you’d be wrong.

The world runs on emotions.

Emotions control all our thoughts and deeds. If we don’t feel something then we don’t act.

If it doesn’t push a button somewhere along the line we ignore it.

Presidential Race

Anyone want to try to make a case that emotions aren’t running high in this years presidential race?

Check anyone’s Facebook page and you’ll see the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat as the primary voting plays out over living room TV screen across America.

The delegate count rises and the number of candidates dwindles.

All of sudden your guy is out of the race — now what do you do?

Family Values

The bigger the family the more squabbles you’ll probably find. Some Thanksgiving dinners will more than likely end with a police report.

It’s all about us. It’s all about how you make us feel. Keeping up with the Jones's is not the number of material things we have but how we personally feel and how we think the Jones's feel about how we feel about them. What?

Sounds a little counter productive doesn’t it?

Some Final Thoughts

Everything we do in life is emotionally driven.

What we buy. What we watch or listen to. Who we associate with.

Try to imagine how boring life would be if we did everything logically.

We’d buy clothes for their wear and durability rather than looks.

We’d eat only healthy foods. We’d exercise every day.

How disastrous would that be?
