Downtown Road Closure Starting Monday, March 25th

You might want to avoid the Rouse, Babcock, Mendenhall area in the coming weeks. Congestion could be bad.

According to Northwest Energy:

Rouse Avenue Closure - Babcock to Mendenhall - Starting Monday, March 25

Rouse Avenue will be closed from Babcock to Mendenhall starting Monday, March 25 for gas main relocation related to the North Rouse Avenue Reconstruction project. Main Street will remain open, but the alleys will be closed. The closure is expected to last through Tuesday, April 23. A small portion of the alley north of Main will be closed starting Friday, March 22 for ground thaw in advance of the gas main work.
