Bozeman Bakery Named Semifinalist for James Beard Award
A local Bozeman bakery is a 2022 James Beard Award Semifinalist.
Caroline Schweitzer and Lauren Heemstra, owners of Wild Crumb in Bozeman, were nominated in the 'Outstanding Baker' category. Wild Crumb is located at 600 North Wallace Ave. in Bozeman.
The James Beard Foundation’s Restaurant and Chef Awards were established in 1991. Finalists will be revealed on March 16, 2022, and winners will be celebrated at the James Beard Restaurant and Chef Awards ceremony on Monday, June 13, 2022, at the Lyric Opera of Chicago.
According to the James Beard Foundation website, the mission of the James Beard Awards is to recognize exceptional talent and achievement in the culinary arts, hospitality, media, and broader food system, as well as a demonstrated commitment to racial and gender equity, community, sustainability, and a culture where all can thrive.
