Bozeman Area Drive-In Theater Adds New and Improved Features
If you're looking for a fun family-friendly way to spend a summer night in the Bozeman area, you need to check out The Pasture Drive-In Theater.
The Pasture Drive-In Theater was created by a student at Manhattan High School in 2020. With much of the state locked down and many traditional theaters closed due to the pandemic, the Blanchard family decided to open a drive-in movie theater in their pasture just south of Manhattan.
Since opening in 2020, The Pasture has become a popular destination for movie lovers to relax and catch a flick during the summer. Drive-in movie theaters were once wildly popular, but are now a thing of the past in many places. In fact, there are only a few left in Montana. Due to a recent fire, a drive-in theater in Laurel, Montana could be closed forever.
The Pasture Drive-In Theater is opening for the summer on Friday, June 17, and recently added a brand new 50' screen. On Friday night, the drive-in theater will be showing Sing 2. Gates open at 8:45 p.m., and the movie starts at 9:45 p.m.
A full summer schedule will be announced soon on The Pasture Drive-In Theater's Facebook page.
The Pasture Drive-In Theater is located at 360 Little Camp Creek Way south of Manhattan in Amsterdam. Admission is $20 per car. On average, around 20-30 cars fill the parking area at the Pasture. There will be concessions, including popcorn, snow cones, and other snacks available for purchase. If you have any questions, check out their Facebook page or contact the drive-in at 406-580-4211.
