Big Sky’s Great Pumpkin Giveaway Saturday: Things To Know
Do some good, get yer pumpkin! For a donation to the Big Sky Community Food Bank, you'll drive away with a free carver for the Halloween holiday. Here's everything you need to know to get your pumpkin:
- WHAT: The 2021 Big Sky Great Pumpkin Giveaway
- WHEN: Saturday, October 23rd, 2021
- TIME: 12 noon to 4pm
- WHERE: Big Sky Town Center (in Fire Pit Park)
- This event will be held rain or shine!
- BENEFIT: for the Big Sky Community Food Bank
- PLEASE WEAR A MASK TO THIS EVENT
It's a simple deal: bring at least 5 cans of food for the Big Sky Community Food Bank, and you'll be allowed to pick out your pumpkin to take home. (There is a limit of 3 free pumpkins per family, please.)
IMPORTANT NOTE: For everyone's safety and to adhere to COVID-19 recommendations, this will be a drive-up/drop off event in the Town Center.
Canned goods are requested for donations, especially soups. (If you'd like to donate more non-perishable foods, that's great but let's abide by their request for 5 cans of food/soup to get the pumpkin.
Last year, this event raised nearly 700 pounds of food for the Big Sky Community Food Bank. Hopefully, we can blow that number out of the water this year!
