3 Immediate Recalls From This Popular Montana Chain Store
A couple of popular grocery items have been recalled nationwide, which means Montana is included.
Walmart has announced a recall of Great Value Sliced Strawberries, Great Value Mixed Fruit, and Great Value Antioxidant Blend. The popular Willamette Valley Fruit Co. brand, also known as Great Value, issued the recall due to a potential Hepatitis A outbreak.
Anyone who has purchased Great Value Sliced Strawberries, Great Value Mixed Fruit, or Great Value Antioxidant Blend from Walmart are encouraged to check their freezers and either throw away the Great Value frozen fruits or return them to the nearest Walmart near you.
WHAT IS HEPATITIS A?
If you think that you may have purchased Great Value Sliced Strawberries, Great Value Mixed Fruit, or Great Value Antioxidant Blend and could be exposed to Hepatitis A, there are some symptoms to watch for.
SYMPTOMS AND SIGNS YOU COULD BE EXPOSED TO HEPATITIS A
- fatigue
- abdominal pain
- jaundice
- abnormal liver tests
- dark urine
- pale stool
If you have had any of these fruits in your smoothies, oatmeal, kids meal prep, whatever it may be, and you are experiencing any of these symptoms you are encouraged to seek medical attention.
If you think you have consumed the Willamette Valley Fruit, Great Value Sliced Strawberries, Great Value Mixed Fruit, OR Great Value Antioxidant Blend, you should contact the Gallatin Health Department so they can keep track of any and all exposures to the recall.
