Woman Slashes Man’s Neck in Halloween Knife Attack Over Parking Spot
A disagreement over a parking spot at a Missoula apartment complex ended with a knife attack at around 10 P.M. on Halloween night.
"Officers responded to the report of a disturbance in the 1500 block of South 12th Street where occupants of an apartment complex were arguing about their parking situation," said Missoula Police Public Information Officer Travis Welsh. "Another male had interjected himself into the argument and, though statements differ, the end result was that the other male received a knife-slash wound to his neck."
The man's neck was actively bleeding by the time police arrived and a search warrant helped them find the weapon.
"One of the females that was involved in the original argument has currently been arrested for the offense of assault with a weapon," Welsh said. "The officers indicated that [the neck wound] was bleeding pretty good when the man answered the door and they made contact with them. The knife has been recovered it was a four-inch knife with a fixed blade."
In the end, Missoula Police arrested 47-year-old Gloria Gilda Lewis, who identified the knife as hers. She is currently parked in the Missoula County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
