WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS EVENING TO 11 AM MST FRIDAY FOR ELEVATIONS ABOVE 6000 FEET.

  • SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW
  • LOCATIONS: BIG HOLE PASS, CHIEF JOSEPH PASS, MONIDA PASS, RAYNOLDS PASS, BATTLE RIDGE PASS, TARGHEE PASS, AND WEST YELLOWSTONE.
  • TIMING: LATE THIS EVENING THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING.
  • ACCUMULATIONS: SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 5 TO 10 INCHES.
  • WINDS: SOUTHWEST 10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH.
  • VISIBILITY: REDUCED TO ONE-HALF MILE OR LESS AT TIMES IN SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW.
  • SNOW LEVEL: 5000 FEET RISING TO 7500 FEET.
  • IMPACTS: SLIPPERY, SNOW-COVERED ROADS AND WALKWAYS WILL MAKE FOR HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS.
  • GUSTY WINDS WILL LEAD TO BLOWING SNOW AND REDUCED VISIBILITY.
  • USE CAUTION WHEN TRAVELING, ESPECIALLY IN OPEN AREAS.
