Before you know it, the season a whole lot of folks look forward to will be here. Of course, I'm talking about concert season. There is just something about live music and being with a bunch of other folks and having a good time.

Here in Montana, we're lucky to have some pretty impressive shows and festivals coming up over the next several months. Kenny Chesney at Bobcat Stadium in Bozeman, Morgan Wallen in Billings, and Head Waters Country Jam just to name a few.

So, that got us thinking if you could pick one singer and or band, living or dead to see in concert, who would you pick?

I realize that for some, that might be a bit of a tough question, but for me, it wasn't that difficult. I would go with the original Queen. In my opinion, Freddie Mercury was the greatest singer in pop/rock history and the band's performance at Live Aid is the standard that every artist should be held to.

So, what about you?  Who would you choose?

I can tell you that a whole lot of folks would love for George Strait to come and perform here in Montana.  The King of Country was by far the artist that received the most votes among the living.  However, some folks voted for a few that have passed on.

Country legends like Waylon Jennings, Marty Robbins, and Chris LeDoux made the list, as did other classic country artists still with us like Garth Brooks and Sawyer Brown.  What about current country artists?  Who are some of the newer artists that Montanans would like to see?

Country Music wasn't the only choice, however.  A few folks would love to see Taylor Swift make her way to Montana. Of course, there are a few folks like myself that love that old-time Rock-n-Roll. Joan Jett and Billy Joel are a couple of artists that Montanans would enjoy seeing come and perform.
