UPDATE: Wednesday Storm Expectations
Several inches of snow are to fall along with gusty winds in Gallatin and Madison counties through Wednesday night. Overnight lows will reach single digits.
According to the National Weather Service:
WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT TONIGHT.
- WHAT...Heavy snow occurring. Additional snow accumulations of 3 to 7 inches at lower elevations, and 6 to 12 inches in the mountains and over mountain passes.
- Winds gusting as high as 30 mph.
- WHERE...Gallatin and Madison.
- WHEN...Until midnight tonight.
- Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.
- If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
