I want diversity of opinions on my college campus but I’m intolerant enough to set the university on fire if it allows opinions with which I disagree.

I don’t believe prejudice is permanent. It’s just permanent for some people. All each of us can do is try to get along. Sometimes that’s not always easy.

The problem with race discussions is the starting point. What do you ask? “What’s it like to be White, Asian, Hispanic, Black, or from Montana?”

I’m not convinced that arming every citizen is the solution anymore than disarming every citizen would keep people safer.

Thanks to our politically correct climate in modern day America there are large groups of people that it’s perfectly OK to bash with no expectation of retaliation.

As a Vietnam Vet, I had the opportunity to see war up close and personal. I don’t have to tell anyone that it’s not something I’d like to do again.
