The 2017 Republican Fall Roundup is in Bozeman October 14. The Fall Roundup is an annual benefit for the Gallatin County Republican Central Committee.

A lot of big-name conservative speakers will be at the event.

Congressman Jason Chaffetz, who served as chairman of the powerful Oversight & Government Reform Committee, will talk about investigating the Benghazi terrorist attack and misuse of classified information by Hillary Clinton.

Chaffetz also investigated the United States Secret Service, the Drug Enforcement Agency, Fast & Furious and the IRS scandal. In other words, he is a Republican superstar.

Senator Daines said Chaffetz is "someone who led the charge of the vigorous oversight of Hillary Clinton's misuse of email, I know Jason Chaffetz is a true conservative. I'm excited to have strong conservative like Jason in Montana so he can see firsthand how deep Montana values run."

Chaffetz was also on Dominick In The Morning this week talking about getting rid of Obamacare. He was elected the same time President Obama became President. For eight years, the Republicans were passing laws to get rid of the Affordable Care Act. Obama vetoed them.

Now when we have a President who will sign these things into law, Chaffetz is confused about what the Republican party is doing.

Chaffetz, a contributor on Fox News and a fellow at Harvard at Institute of Politics, will also talk to the group about why he has chosen to leave Congress.

Montana Congressman Greg Gianforte will also speak at the October 14 event.

Tickets for the event can be purchased through EventBrite under 2017 Republican Fall Roundup or by contacting (406) 518-7000. It's Saturday, October 14, at 6:30 PM. and dinner is provided.
