One of Bozeman’s Best Restaurants is Closing. What’s Moving In?
A popular Bozeman restaurant is set to close in the near future and will be replaced by another local restaurant. Here's what we know about it.
The city of Bozeman has become a haven for great Mexican food. Throughout town, there are several brick-and-mortar restaurants and food trucks to choose from. Over the past few years, the restaurant scene in Bozeman has changed a lot. Some places that locals loved have closed down and are gone forever. The price of renting a space to operate a business has gone through the roof, and it has become a real struggle for many local businesses to survive.
What Popular Restaurant is Closing in Bozeman?
We recently heard rumors that El Rodeo was planning to close its brick-and-mortar location near the Gallatin Valley Mall. To clarify, we're not talking about the location inside the mall. We reached out to the restaurant to confirm the rumors, and sadly, they are true.
The El Rodeo located at 2631 W. Main Street will close permanently sometime in January 2024. The location inside of the Gallatin Valley Mall and the El Rodeo food truck will remain open. The restaurant also has a location in Billings that will remain open. If you're a fan of El Rodeo, you'll be happy to know that they aren't closing entirely. It's just one location.
What is Moving Into The Building?
Believe it or not, it's another Mexican restaurant. Mr. Burritos, which has a location near Four Corners will open a new location in Bozeman sometime around March 2024. We don't know the exact opening date but have confirmed that it will be happening. Mr. Burritos will also be opening a new take-out-only location in Belgrade before the end of the year.
