When most people think of Billy Bob Thornton, they think about the many movies he has been in, but many don't know that he's also the lead singer of a Rock N' Roll band.

Billy Bob Thornton and his band The Boxmasters have been rocking out since the band formed in California in 2007. His current gig isn't his first. He's played in a few bands since middle school, and at one time long ago, he was a roadie.

My parents were visiting Bozeman over the weekend, so we decided to check out the show on Sunday night. Thornton and The Boxmasters played for around 2 hours and put on a great show.

While on stage, Thornton explained that the band hasn't played in Montana before and that people in Whitefish thought they were going to be a country band. He also told the audience about a hip injury he suffered due to falling off the tour bus. He jokingly claimed that a fellow band member pushed him.

The band definitely isn't a country band. Instead, they're a genuine Rock N' Roll band. If you weren't able to make it to the concert over the weekend, you can check out some pictures from the show below. We apologize if the pictures aren't the best quality. They were taken on a cell phone.
