It's time for Gallatin County to institute a requirement that people wear masks/face coverings in public.

According to a Disease Ecology Lab at Montana State University, studies show that face coverings reduce the droplets spray when worn over the nose and mouth.

As of July 8, Gallatin County has the 2nd most active COVID-19 cases in Montana with 98. Yellowstone County leads the state in active cases with 190, according to the Montana Response COVID-19 tracking map.
