Norris Road Motorcycle Accident Victim Identified

Norris Road was closed for several hours due the accident yesterday that claimed the life of Dewitt Latimer.

Madison County officials say the 50-year old Latimer was the lead motorcycle in a group of 4.  They were heading westbound around mile marker 7, when Latimer veered into the eastbound lane, and struck a vehicle head on.  He was wearing a helmet, but was pronounced dead at the scene.

Dewitt Latimer was Montana State University's chief information officer.

No one else was injured in the crash.
