Who doesn't love a good murder mystery show? Especially when the show is set in the great state of Montana.

ABC has been releasing trailers for their new TV shows that are coming out in the next few months and one of the shows is set right here in Montana, actually near Yellowstone National Park.

The show is called Big Sky and is from television producer and writer David E. Kelley who created shows such as the Emmy award winning Big Little Lies, Ally McBeal, Boston Legal and more. The show also stars Ryan Phillipe(Cruel Intentions, USA Network's Shooter), Kylie Bunbury(Game Night, FOX's Pitch) and John Carroll Lynch(American Horror Story, Zodiac). Watch the trailer below.

The murder mystery looks pretty good and should be filled with twists and turns along the way. Hopefully this show can last a little longer than one season like most network TV shows.

When I heard about this show I was extremely excited to see another show based in Montana and was really hoping that it was filmed in our area but sad to say the show is filmed in British Columbia. Hopefully one day we can get another show to film in Montana and show the beauty of what we have to offer to the TV and film industry.

As of right now, the only show that is set in Montana and also films here is Yellowstone on the Paramount Network starring Kevin Costner and just finished their third season. Plus, they have been approved for a fourth season as well.

Maybe if Big Sky does well in it's first season they could move filming the show to a place where the show actually takes place but that's wishful thinking.

Big Sky premieres on ABC on November 17th.
