MSU Starting Quarterback to Miss 2018 Season
Surprising news out of the Montana State University Athletic Department with less than sixty days to go before the season starts.
According to Montana Sports, the two-year starting quarterback Chris Murray will be stepping off the field for the 2018 football season to focus on academics.
Murray was a preseason second team All-American heading into this season and has the most experience at the quarterback position on the Bobcat roster.
Coach Jeff Choate says an open quarterback competition will start when the team opens practices on August 3.
Hopefully whoever wins the QB competition can get up to speed quickly as the first game of the season is August 30 in Bobcat Stadium.
