Montana father sentenced for continuing son’s drug operation
MISSOULA, Mont. (Missoulian) — A Montana man has been sentenced to more than 16 years in federal prison for taking up his son's methamphetamine and heroin distribution operation.
The Missoulian reports 43-year-old Allan Roy Goodman was sentenced Thursday on eight charges including drug distribution, retaliating against a witness and firearm offenses.
Goodman was indicted in October and convicted in December following an investigation by federal, state and local authorities.
Records say informants told authorities Goodman had become a heroin and meth supplier in Missoula, replacing his son, Stephen Goodman, who was sentenced to nearly six years in federal prison for the same operation.
