John Mayer is a part-time resident of the Paradise Valley south of Livingston. On June 13, 2022, historic flooding caused extensive damage in many Montana communities. At the time, Mayer asked his fans on social media to keep their Montana vacation plans to help Montana communities that were impacted by the flooding.

John Mayer is a good guy. He quickly reached out to a few friends, including Bob Weir and Dave Chappelle, and asked them to come to Montana and join him on stage at Pine Creek Lodge to raise money for flood relief.

Unfortunately, tickets for the three benefit shows sold out fast, and many folks weren't able to get tickets. However, there are other ways that you can help. You can text "Flood22” to 41444 to make a donation to the Park County Community Foundation.

Music Villa in downtown Bozeman recently announced another way to help flood victims in Montana. The local guitar store is raffling off two guitars, both signed by John Mayer to support the SW Montana Flood Relief efforts courtesy of the Park County Community Foundation.

The two guitars (pictured below) are a PRS Silver Sky and the Martin 00-L Earth Guitar.

Raffle tickets are $20 each for both the PRS Silver Sky and the Martin 00-L Earth Guitar. Winners will be announced on Monday, August 22 following John’s 3rd and final flood relief concert at Pine Creek Lodge.

You can stream the final John Mayer show on nugs.net on August 21.

Here's what Music Villa said about the raffle on Facebook;

What a great thing JM (and friends) are doing for the community and we’re so lucky to be able to help facilitate a small chunk of the relief efforts. Come in, support a good cause and maybe take home an amazing one-of-a-kind guitar! Good luck.

Raffle tickets are cash-only, and can be purchased in-store at Music Villa.
