We got a surprise phone call from Republican US Senate candidate and Navy SEAL veteran Tim Sheehy on Friday morning. He was heading to a rally with South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (R-SD) and "some other folks" later that day.

Turns out those "other folks" were none other than President Donald Trump himself. Sheehy wasn't the only Montanan in the house- Montana's US Senator Steve Daines (R-MT) spoke at the rally.

As the Chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), Daines talked about the need to deliver a Republican majority in the US Senate for if/when President Trump is back in the White House.

Senator Daines: Remember something. When President Trump is elected in November of 24 the first call he will make is to the United States Senate, because he's got to move his cabinet officials through, and our founding fathers gave that responsibility to the United States Senate. Imagine for a moment we are not in majority control, and he's calling Chuck Schumer. It'd be a disaster. So that's why we're working really hard to win the majority back and I'd say there's three states- three states will decide the majority. It's West Virginia. It's Montana. And it's Ohio. Those three states all have Democrats up- in states where every single elected official in those three states are now Republicans. So if you're a Democrat in that state and you're trying to run for re election to the United States Senate- get ready- because we are coming for you. We are.
