Incredible Montana Marine Set to Perform Recital in Bozeman
A warrior poet. Or, shall we say- a warrior pianist.
For those of you who have not had the honor of meeting retired Marine Corps Colonel Eric Hastings in Bozeman, Montana- he is a remarkable man, full of wisdom. Many of you know Colonel Hastings as the founder of Warriors & Quiet Waters (WQW). You might even know that he flew 168 combat missions in Vietnam. During Desert Storm, he was the Chief of Staff to all US Marine forces.
But did you know THIS about Colonel Eric Hastings?
Check out this note that I received from Emily Sather with Warriors & Quiet Waters:
Emily Sather: Did you know that after retiring from the Marine Corps, Eric spent four years in New York City earning an MFA in classical piano performance? This man is full of surprises (and inspiration)!
There is a special event coming up on January 11th in Bozeman- a classical piano concert benefiting WQW by Colonel Eric Hastings.
Emily Sather: He has been practicing for four hours a day for the past year and a half in preparation for his recital. Approximately 100 tickets are available at a pay-what-you-can ticket price. Virtual tickets are available as well.

About The Concert:
"An Evening with Colonel Eric Hastings" is more than just a concert; it is a celebration of the timeless beauty of classical music and a noble effort to support our nation's veterans. Colonel Eric Hastings, through his virtuoso piano performance, will take you on a mesmerizing journey through the works of classical masters he has studied on his "Hunt for Purpose" searching the musical wilderness to find he was "Built for More" after his military career.
The primary purpose of this event is to raise essential funds for Warriors & Quiet Waters, an organization committed to guiding veterans and their loved ones to thrive and find peace, meaning, and purpose through fly fishing and other inspirational activities in nature. By attending this special evening, you not only experience a musical masterpiece but also become a vital part of a meaningful cause.
