New Rule at Target Stores in Montana: What You Need to Know

Details about the new change and what customers that shop at the store can expect in the future were sent in a press release from the company. Target has locations in Bozeman, Helena, Kalispell, Billings, Great Falls, and Missoula.
DETAILS ABOUT SELF-CHECKOUT CHANGE AT MONTANA TARGET STORES
Last year, target tried out the new self-checkout policy at pilot stores, and found that checkout times were faster and that customers were more satisfied with their shopping experience. Following the positive results, Target decided to implement the policy at stores nationwide.
We’re rolling out Express Self-Checkout with limits of 10 items or fewer at most of our nearly 2,000 stores nationwide.
That's right! Self-checkout lanes at Target stores in Montana will soon be 10 items or less. In addition to the change in self-checkout lanes, Target plans to add more traditional lanes that will be staffed by team members. The new policy went into effect March 17, and if it hasn't happened at your local store yet, you can expect to see the change in the near future.
