One company with over 1,100 locations across America will expand into new markets and could be testing grounds for the future.

Eat This, Not That reports Smoothie King plans on adding almost 200 new locations by the end of 2024. The markets they plan on adding include Las Vegas, Minnesota, and Utah.

The Southern franchise has been around for over 50 years and focuses on healthy smoothies.

Smoothie King has a majority of their locations in the south and southeast but has slowly started to expand West and North. The company has gone worldwide with locations across the globe.

Salt Lake City and the surrounding cities have been a known market for franchises to test stores. The smaller population can help companies figure out how to roll out their stores in smaller markets to be successful.

If Smoothie King sees decent returns in Utah and the other markets they plan to add locations, we wouldn't be surprised if they start looking to add stores in Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana.
