3 Montana School Districts Among Best In The Nation
They say you can't put a price on education. Whether you agree or disagree, most of us can agree that education is certainly important and can often determine someone's future outcome.
Of course, education doesn't necessarily have to be a 4-year degree in some specific subject. It can include apprenticeships in the trades, a 2-year certification, or just a basic education that includes K-12.
Because Montana is considered a "rural" state by many, you might not think that the quality of education you receive here in The Treasure State would be up to par with the more populated areas across the country, however, that's not true, at least in a handful of school districts across the state.
Test Prep Insights put out a list of "The Most Envied School Districts in America" and three Montana school districts cracked the Top 100.
Which Montana School Districts made the Top 100 list?
Congratulations to the school districts in Kalispell, Bozeman, and Billings. All three districts made the Top 100 of the most envied school districts in America. While none of the three made the Top 50, Kalispell came the closest coming in ranked at 54th on the list.
Bozeman and Billings were ranked 62nd and 97th. That is quite the honor, especially when you consider that teachers in Montana rank 42nd out of 50 when it comes to salary. Other Montana school districts made the list as well with Helena coming in 104th and Missoula coming in 235th.
Currently, Montana has over 100 thousand students in K-12 with over 300 school districts across the state.
