We all know that the tourism season in Montana is a big deal. Each year, millions of folks travel here and visit our parks and sights.  They spend money in our local businesses, stay in our hotels, and pay overpriced t-shirts to let everyone know they've been to Montana.

As mentioned, according to US News and World Report, Montana scored pretty high on the best places for summer vacation list with two popular locations making the Top 5.

While it might not come as a big shock that both Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks made the list of best summer vacation spots in the United States, what is interesting is their rankings. As mentioned, both spots made the Top 5, with the two National Parks ranked 1st and 2nd on the list.

Glacier National Park comes in first place, meaning Yellowstone came in 2nd. While this is certainly something for Montanans to be proud of, it also means more tourists will be heading our way.
